SAN DIEGO, June 30, 2012 – Miro Technologies, the market leader for maintenance and logistics management of complex military assets, announced today that Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation took two of their rotary wing fleets live on GOLDesp on June 11th. GOLDesp is now operational and supporting aircraft sustainment, repair, maintenance, serial number tracking, repair funds management, spare parts order tracking, component repair management and refurbishment of special use helicopter fleets.
During the two week go-live and post go-live support period, the joint Sikorsky/Miro implementation team trained all users, converted a large volume of historical and operational data, shut down Sikorsky’s legacy information system and began use of GOLDesp in their production environment. The effectiveness of the joint implementation team allowed Sikorsky to transition their maintenance, repair and logistics operations without any interruption in their day-to-day activities and without any adverse impact on their customer.
