Subsequent to the project plan presentation, a question and answer period was conducted, followed by Project Board approval to proceed with Jadwal.
Miro Technologies previously announced a contract award from the Sultanate of Oman Ministry of Defence (MOD) to implement an integrated Joint Logistics Management Solution (JLMS) to manage supply, maintenance and transport business functions across Oman MOD Services. The new tri-service logistics programme, named Jadwal, features GOLDesp as the central logistics application. Miro has now established a program office in Muscat to support the project, adding to its presence in the Middle East region. Miro Technologies is prime contractor for all implementation services, including an extensive training programme, testing, data conversion and go-live support. Miro will be working as an integrated team with the office of the Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) and Ernst & Young to deliver the JLMS solution.
