SAN DIEGO, Calif., December 2, 2015 – The Army National Guard (ARNG) has awarded Tapestry Solutions, a non-fully integrated subsidiary of Boeing [NYSE: BA], a three year contract to provide training support and professional services for the Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). MCTSP is an Army National Guard contract encompassing simulation-supported staff training, mission command training, and technical services to Army Guard units during their home station unit training programs, meeting mandatory certification gates before deploying into combat or other contingencies.
Tapestry teamed with prime contractor, Parsons Corporation, to support the ARNG by providing Mission Command Training in realistic tactical environments to units during pre-mobilization training at ARNG Mission Training Centers (MTC) and other unit locations across the United States. Tapestry will provide distributed simulations training allowing ARNG units to conduct training at their assigned unit locations without requiring travel to a regional MTC for the majority of the training.
