KUWAIT, December 9, 2013 – The Kuwait Air Force (KAF) has contracted Miro Technologies to implement GOLDesp with Kay & Associates Inc (KAI) of Buffalo Grove, IL, in support of the KAF F/A-18 fighter attack aircraft fleet. Kay & Associates and the KAF will use GOLDesp to allow this fleet to be maintained with a high degree of integrity, fidelity and efficiency to increase aircraft availability while reducing operational costs.
The KAF rollout of GOLDesp is the core empowering enabler allowing the KAF to use real time, accurate, complete and trusted information for superior decision support. GOLDesp’s depth and breadth of functionality and automation will assist the KAF in rationalizing and updating business processes and in transferring tribal knowledge to newer personnel.
“This is one of a number of strategic engagements our organization is actively supporting in Kuwait,” said Miro Technologies’ Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Vincent Monteparte. “The Kuwait Ministry of Defense is an important client for Miro,” he continued, “and as the prime contractor, Kay & Associates has done an outstanding job in keeping this project on track and ahead of schedule.”
