La Jolla, Ca – September 1, 2011 – Miro Technologies, a leading aftermarket provider of defense logistics and PBL software solutions, announced today a contract award from Kellstrom Industries that includes GOLDesp software licenses, integration and implementation services. GOLDesp will be employed by Kellstrom Defence Aerospace as the Inventory Control Point to manage the supply activity on the E-8C Joint STARS program for the US Air Force.
Kellstrom Defense Aerospace Inc., a division of Kellstrom Industries, recently announced that it has been awarded a contract by Northrop Grumman Corporation to support its prime contract with the United States Air Force (USAF) for Total System Support Responsibility (TSSR), providing operational support for the 17 E-8C Joint STARS aircraft at Robins Air Force Base, Ga. Under the new contract, Kellstrom will provide specialized warehousing, repair management, purchasing and quality assurance, as well as other functional, infrastructure and systems support services to Northrop Grumman and the USAF. After a transition period, Kellstrom Defense Aerospace will assume all existing support operations effective November 1, 2011.
