Preparing Warfighters for Full-Spectrum Military Operations
Tapestry supports Mission Command training and simulations in Live, Virtual, Constructive & Gaming (LVC-G) environments which prepare commanders and their staff for full-spectrum military operations. The simulations enable warfighters to plan and rehearse large-scale, joint and multinational training events as well as logistics operations and small-unit tactical exercises.
We support individual, leader and collective mission command training at major combat training centers and at homestations. From mission planning and rehearsal to After Action Reviews, our technologies help ensure the highest level of readiness and situational awareness for our troops.
Tapestry turns data into knowledge with our software and services, including Enterprise IT services; Command and Control (C2) operations; Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions; and maintenance and technical support.
We also support Boeing's Cyber Security information management training solutions. Boeing has developed a Cyber-Range-in-a-Box, or CRIAB, which allows modeling and simulation of complex missions and advanced threats for security solutions. CRIAB Range Management Services enable centralized and enterprise accessible range management, control and use. Boeing offers Cyber Test and Evaluation Services for customers’ training, workshop and exercise needs.
Tapestry plans, designs and conducts exercises in Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) environments at major combat training centers and home stations. We manage and fuse exercise data, combining multiple sensor feeds such as video, audio and positional data. The data is presented during AARs to capture key lessons learned.
The U.S. Department of Defense defines the LVC categories as follows:
- Live - A simulation involving real people operating real systems. Military training events using real equipment are live simulations.
- Virtual - A simulation involving real people operating simulated systems.
- Constructive - A simulation involving simulated people operating simulated systems. A constructive simulation is a computer program.
MCTS: Mission Command Training Support
As the prime contractor for the Mission Command Training Support (MCTS) contract, Tapestry Solutions has helped train over 30,000 military personnel across 22 nations for the 7th Army Training Command (7th ATC) - The U.S. Army's largest overseas training command that oversees the training requirements for U.S., allied and partner nation forces in Europe. We provide training and simulation support at JMSC in Grafenwöhr, Germany, and its satellite in Kaiserslautern. We also support the Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in Hohenfels, Germany.
Tapestry's trainers design, plan and conduct exercises ranging from Army unit-level activities to large-scale events involving multinational training units. JMSC facilitates mission command training from company to 3-star commander level by integrating Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) training environments.

JDLM: Joint Deployment Logistics Model
JDLM provides commanders and their staffs with the complete array of computer-simulated exercises required to meet logistics training requirements. The simulation tool provides warfighters with the opportunity to exercise their command and control systems in a realistic constructive training environment.
The computer-based simulations replicate various scenarios that warfighters might experience during deployment, including issues relating to transportation, maintenance, personnel and reporting procedures.
MCTSP: Mission Command Training Support Program
Tapestry Solutions supports homestation training simulations for the Army National Guard (ARNG) under the Mission Command Training Support Program. We are teamed with prime contractor, Parsons Corporation, to provide simulation-supported staff training, mission command training, information systems and technical services to Army Guard units.
With the support of MCTSP mobile training teams, the distributed simulations training allows ARNG units to conduct training at their assigned unit locations without requiring travel to a regional Mission Training Complex. (Learn more about MCTSP)
