Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing Company, will showcase its premier information management technologies to the maritime community at the WEST 2018 conference and exhibition, which runs Feb 6-8 in San Diego. Among the presentations, Tapestry representatives will demonstrate the industry-leading GOLDesp MRO & Supply software in the Boeing booth #1425. Boeing’s exhibit will feature the theme, “Cross Domain Innovation for Tomorrow’s Forces.”
Tapestry’s GOLDesp is the #1 tri-service software that modernizes Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul & supply operations for complex assets operating in land, air, sea and space environments. The combat-proven software provides total lifecycle support and reduces sustainment costs for high-value assets such as vessels, tactical jets, UAVs, military transports, commercial helicopters, air defense and space systems.
Key customers include the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Special Operations Command, and several international partner nations including the U.K, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Oman. Major defense contractors and OEMs have also widely adopted the technology as a key element in their defense sustainment strategies. The Boeing Company uses GOLDesp for the majority of its Performance-Based Logistics (PBL) contracts, including support for the C-17 Globemaster III and the AH-64D Apache Longbow.
In addition to GOLDesp, Tapestry representatives will highlight the following capabilities at WEST 2018:
- TECHNICAL AND MISSION SUPPORT SERVICES, including support for the U.S. Navy’s Tactical Mobile (TacMobile) program. TacMobile provides fixed-site and mobile Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) capability warfighting capability for the U.S. Navy’s Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Force, or MPRF. The program supports pre-flight mission planning, in-flight data processing, post-flight data processing and analysis for the P-3C and P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol/reconnaissance aircraft.
- ENTERPRISE ASSET MANAGEMENT, featuring Enterprise Sensor Integration (ESI). ESI provides the platform for the Internet of Things (IoT) for defense, commercial and government customers by intelligently connecting people, processes and data to improve asset visibility and situational awareness across the entire enterprise. The sensor-agnostic solution connects various data sources onto a common platform, regardless of sensor type or brand. This helps organizations control the chaos when faced with a growing number of disassociated sensor technologies and networks that manage supply chain and manufacturing operations.
- DEPLOYMENT & DISTRIBUTION TECHNOLOGIES, highlighting the Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES) program that serves over 20,000 users within the Department of Defense (DoD). ICODES and its commercial variant, GOLDesp Load Planner, provide end-to-end supply chain visibility of cargo load plans, including distribution forecasting and planning for ships, aircraft, railcars and trucks/trailers. First deployed by the U.S. Transportation Command in 1997, ICODES has served as the single load planning capability for the DoD since 2007.
